3. MEDICAL AND TRAVEL PROCESS STEP BY STEP
We are devoted to making sure that your entire experience with us is safe, smooth and convenient from your consultation to your surgery to your recovery and finally to your come back.
Step 1: Once you contact our office via email, phone or social media, you will be asked to specify your procedure of interest and to send us pictures of the related area.
Step 2: Once you approve the quote and confirm the procedure you will be asked to send us your medical background history and take blood tests that will ensure you are a suitable candidate for this procedure. These tests can be performed at home with your family physician or Dr Gonzalez can send you an order form. These results should be scanned back to our office. Another option is that you take the tests in Bogotá or Cali a few days prior to your scheduled procedure. We suggest you take the tests at home before you travel in case the tests reveal you are not a suitable patient for the procedure.
Step 3: Our doctor will analyze the medical documentation and approve or not the medical procedure.
Step 4: First consultation with Dr. Gonzalez and his team.
Step 5: Surgery day.
Step 6: Recovery process.
During the first after surgery one of our private nurses will visit you at your apartment/hotel; she will assist you with wound care, showers or any other needs and she will report your recovery to our medical team.
Step 7: All follow up visits will occur in our office usually on a daily basis or as often as you require.
