Abdominoplasty

Tummy Tuck

When the volume of the abdomen expands changes on the skin qualities are produced. These changes can be linked to the rupture of collagen and elastic fibers that will  produce stretch marks and  redundancy leading perhaps to a surgical intervention in order to  correct and improve the abdominal contour,  skin flaccidity, and the subcutaneous cellular fabric (fatty fabric).

The abdominal lipectomy or abdominoplasty is a procedure where the abdominal shape is refined and the excesses of skin on the tummy and superior abdomen are fixed. This result is achieved by means of a short abdominal incision, mini-lipectomy 12 to 16 cm, or a more extensive – 24 to 28 cm – above the pubis horizontally oriented (the extension of the wound will depend on the quantity of redundant skin). This procedure is done by Dr. Alan Gonzalez in such a precise way that the scar is not visible since it is hidden by the underwear/bathing suit. The navel is as natural as before and a better definition of the waist is also achieved.
