Otoplasty
(Surgery of Ears)
In the first appointment the surgeon
evaluates the form and projection and explains the details of possible results.
The surgery is an ambulatory procedure that can be carried out under general
or local anesthetesia; the length of the procedure is of approximately 1 hour
and the incision is located in the earphone pleat making it hardly noticeable.
The recovery produces a minimum of uneasiness due to the inflammation and
the manipulation of the cartilage. These symptoms can be managed perfectly
with analgesics.
